And I’m Josh.

And last August I was scrolling Instagram, and we’ve always had an entrepreneur mindset. We started an online business almost 10 years ago and have had a lot of great success. And we’re just looking to diversify our income. And I was scrolling through Instagram and I ran across Rachel and Low Hanging System. I was like, gosh, this is interesting. And sometimes you don’t ever really know, is it legit? Is it true? I remember going to sleep thinking, “I’m not going to say anything to my husband tonight.”

I wonder why.

Okay. And so then the next morning I told Josh. I was like, “Hey, I ran across this really interesting print-on-demand program. And I think we should sell coffee mugs.” And he was like …

She’s like, “We’re going to sell mugs.” I’m like, “We’re going to sell what? Do people buy mugs?”

Yeah. And so that’s really where our journey began with Low Hanging System, and it’s been seven months and it has exceeded our expectations. One of the biggest reasons that we do this business is just to allow us to be with our kids. We know that they’re going to be grown and gone, and we just want to really capitalize on this season with our children and really just be together as a family. Time is a precious commodity and you can’t get it back. Our kids are our driving force. They’re are why. And they’re the reason that we work so hard from our couch, from our home.

Yeah, it’s really about time freedom for us. It’s really the most important thing to us. And this is what it really gives us. There was part of the testimonials that really stood out to us too, the amount of people that were doing this from all parts of the world, traveling. It’s a business that you can take with you, which I really, really like. It’s residual income that works for you when you’re not working. So there’s just been so many great positives to it.

We saw some early success right along, especially in December. We sold, I think, over $14,000 on one of the main platforms in mugs. I think we’ve sold maybe since the beginning of our time with LHS close to 900 mugs. So it’s been great. We had several days within December where we sold 60, 70 mugs in the day.

Yeah. That was fun.

So it’s been great, yeah.

It’s not always about the money. It’s about the time that a business like this can give us as parents. I never knew how I was going to feel when I became a mom. I just thought I was going to take my allotted three months maternity leave and then just go back to work. But becoming a mom has truly been the greatest blessing in my life. And I knew from the moment I met my son, I was like, I want to be with him. And so in came that entrepreneurial drive that I was like, okay, we have to find something to be able to just make money while we’re not able to work the business. And that’s why LHS has been truly so wonderful for our family is that we see sometimes one-time effort can reap benefits for months and years.
